NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey! I'm Stan, and I recently joined StableLab as Head of Product.

How I Found My Way to web3

My journey into web3 started the way many 2021 class stories do—through NFTs and DAOs.

After six years at a Fortune company and a few years in management consulting working on climate tech, I was getting tired of the corporate environment. The bureaucracy, the slow decision-making, the endless meetings—it was draining.

Then I discovered DAOs.

Back in 2021, DAOs felt like a revelation. Here was this new way of organizing work that promised to fix everything. Transparent decision-making. Community ownership. Flat hierarchies. It felt like a silver bullet that was going to save me from the corporate world I was burning out in.

Turns out, there's a lot of work to be done before the concepts of web3 become that silver bullet (shocker, I know). But the potential was real, and the problems were worth solving. That gap between what was and what could be—that's what got me into the space.

What I've Built

I've spent the last few years building products in crypto and leading teams from 0-to-1.

At EnterDAO, on LandWorks—a metaverse land marketplace with the ambition to become the Airbnb of the metaverse. And later at Consensys, I led VillageDAO—a community-driven support application that enabled protocols to empower their community members to handle support and onboarding, with smart contracts rewarding contributors.

Across my experience, two lessons stuck: meet users where they are and product fundamentals apply regardless of the fact that we're building in Web3.

Meeting users where they are means building for existing workflows, not forcing new ones. It's about reducing friction and integrating into the tools and platforms already used daily, rather than expecting adoption of yet another new workflow or standalone application. Distribution and adoption happen when you make it easy for users to say yes.

And the fundamentals? Understanding user needs through research and validation. Building feedback loops between what users tell you and what you ship. Prioritizing ruthlessly based on impact. These principles don't change because you're working with smart contracts or tokens. Good product management is good product management—the technology stack is just the implementation detail.

To share this message with as many product builders as I can in web3, I started product3.io—a community for product people building in crypto.

Beyond Product

When I'm not thinking about product strategy, you'll find me on the mats. I've been practicing martial arts for several years and I love it. It's not just about physical fitness—it impacts my mental health and discipline in ways that carry over into everything I do. Pushing limits in the gym teaches you to push limits outside of it.

Why StableLab?

I'm joining StableLab at an exciting time. Growth is what every on-chain organization needs—not more tools, not more coordination layers, but products that help them scale what's working and eliminate what's not. We're building for that: maximizing ROI, proving impact, driving measurable growth outcomes. What drew me in is how clearly StableLab's vision aligns with what I believe the market needs.

Exciting times ahead!
